September: Competitions Galore

The muggy summer has passed and we’re ripping into a packed month of drifting, drag racing, and competition everywhere for September. Mark your calendars for some great racing events.

Rolie Racing Weekend (Sept 6-7)

Our final drag racing weekend of 2025 is coming up fast. Due to the August event getting rained out, we’ve moved the Wally competition to September for a packed weekend of winners.

  • Saturday Wally competition classes: Trophy, Sportsman, Pro ET, Super Pro, Bikes
  • Sunday Wally competition classes: Heads up Street Tire, Small Tire, Big Tire
  • Sunday final race: King of the Track competition between weekend bracket winners

The tower office is full of trophies and prizes to give out and we’re excited to wrap up our drag racing season with a big competition weekend. For full event information and scheduling, see the event page.

Register for ET Finals (Sept 11-14)

Being a member of NHRA Division 5, Interstate Raceway is able to send 2 teams of 36 drivers each to represent the track at the NHRA ET Finals taking place this year in Earlville, Iowa at Tri-State Raceway.

If you’d like to join the team to compete under our banner and you’ve raced at least 2 events this year in the bracket points competition, contact the team organizer at RolieRacingEvents@gmail.com with the following info:

  • Full name (first + last)
  • Your car number and NHRA Membership number (MUST have a valid NHRA Membership and license)
  • NHRA Membership expiration (month and year)
  • Class you want to drive in (ET Finals limits to 1 class per vehicle)

Spots are limited and registration closes on September 8th. If you haven’t signed up for the bracket points competition yet but you’ve raced at least 1 event with us this year, hit up the ticket booth during our September event to register for $20 to get onto the points roster and become eligible to join the team.

Drifting the Plains 3 (Sept 12-14)

The last DTP event of the year will conclude in mid-September with the last rounds of the Fargo Drifting Open Tandem Competition on Saturday and the Limited Competition on Sunday. A season points winner will be declared on Saturday after competition in the Open series, so the drivers will be throwing down as much as they can to get a solid final finish.

Driver registration slots are selling down quickly so grab yours before they’re gone! Check out the event page on ND Drift for a full schedule and ticket info.

Formula Drift Licensing Rounds 3-4 (Sept 20-21)

After duking it out in the first two spicy rounds of competition earlier this summer, we’re back with the final two rounds for our Formula Drift Licensing series. The winner who survives all four rounds and comes out on top will walk away with a shiny new Formula Drift PROSPEC license, which allows them to compete at the national level. Drivers are looking for a hot competition and these are professional tier cars, so make sure to grab your spot with a good view for the show. For full event info and scheduling, check out the event page on ND Drift.
