We have a variety of bracket racing classes to enter, whether you’re new to competition or running a souped up rail dragster. All drag racing ETs are reflected as eighth mile times.
Please choose your class(es) before you arrive at the gate. This helps us get through the line quickly and efficiently. If you don’t know what class to run, jump into the non-competition Test & Tune group for the day to make practice passes down the track. Then you’ll know how your car performs and you can use your time slips to pick which class(es) you should enter on the next race day. It’s popular to test on Saturday and compete on Sunday!
If you enter multiple classes, be prepared to potentially hotlap your vehicle. We have a lot of vehicles to run and a strict facility curfew, so we can’t always allow for significant cooldown times between classes if you happen to enter multiple classes that run in a row. You must be in your lane when your class is called in order to participate in a competition class or you will be disqualified. Thank you for understanding.
Note: Due to safety and insurance restrictions, electric vehicles (EVs) are prohibited from drag racing.

JR Street
We follow the NHRA rules for JR Street, which can be found here: https://www.nhra.com/jr-street
Any teens participating in JR Street must have a licensed adult with them when operating the vehicle. To participate in the class, teen drivers must have an NHRA license per the JR Street category rules (see link above). If you’re doing licensing passes, please let us know when you go through tech inspection and you’ll run in the Test & Tune group to make your passes. If the schedule is running short, we will do our best to get your licensing passes through by the end of the day so please be prepared to hotlap if necessary.
Gambler
Depending on the racing schedule and car count, we may call for a bonus race class called the Gambler. Gambler participation is open to any vehicles that have been eliminated from Bracket competition. This means that competitors from across classes can meet on the starting line and take a gamble against each other!
- Participants can receive a bye for one driver in the last two elimination rounds before Finals if there’s an odd-number of entries.
- Bye is decided by random number drawing and you cannot be awarded a bye twice.
Test and Tune
You’re welcome to bring almost any truck or car to run test passes at our track in a non-competition group called Test and Tune. A cage is required for anything faster than 6.33 seconds and you must pass a standard safety tech inspection (no leaks, no expired helmet, etc).
Test and Tune is run on a .500 Sportsman tree and has no crosstalk. If you’d like to run on a .400 Pro tree, let us know when you pull up to the burnout box and we can set the system in your lane.
You cannot enter Test & Tune and a competition class on the same day. However, you can join the Test & Tune group for free when you have been eliminated from all of your competition classes starting after the second round of eliminations when the Test & Tune class opens up. Listen for the announcement about the class opening up, then you can come to the Test & Tune lanes when the class is called.
If you are doing NHRA licensing passes, you will run with the Test & Tune group and get priority for completing your runs in the event of a scheduling issue cutting close to our facility curfew.
