May Events: Keep the Racing at the Track

Spring is here, warm weather is rolling in, and it’s time to break out the speedy loud toys. It seems that Fargo is having issues with people getting too antsy and racing on the streets, so we’d like to highlight our events this month where you can put the pedal to the floor and race properly. You and your car are itching to go full send, so do it right at the track without having to avoid police, potholes, and traffic.

Drift 101/102 Classes (May 7-8)

Where do you learn to drift? Not in the Walmart parking lot! Sign up for our Drift 101 and 102 classes to learn proper car handling in a controlled facility with professional instructors. You’ll learn burnouts, car control, and slide transitions. See the events page for details.

ND Drift Spring Matsuri (May 13-15)

The first hot lap drifting event is coming early this year with the Spring Matsuri. At a hot lap event, cars can continuously enter and exit the track, meaning it’s fantastic for spectators and you can ham it up all you want behind the wheel with a ton of seat time. If you can only come out for one afternoon, make it Saturday the 14th for the tandem competition. See the events page for details.

Bracket Drag Racing & SRD Shootout (May 28-29)

Ken Buck’s “Fast Buck Racing”

If hard launches and high speed are more your scene, drop in for the first drag race event of the season. This event is open for anyone who wants to compete as well as newbies making practice passes throughout the weekend. We have friendly staff who can help you learn how to stage and make passes in anything from sports cars to your mom’s minivan. Our timing system is miles better than a traffic light or flashlight and we don’t have cops around every corner, so the only tickets you’ll get are your own timeslips. See the events page for details.
