We’re in the full swing of summer and dusting off the tire rubber from our recent drift events to prep for a double dose of drag racing this month.
Drifting the Plains #2 Winners
The weather was much better (no hail this time!) and there was a great turnout for our second round of Drifting the Plains. ND drift put on a sweet show and the competition was fierce. Congrats to our tandem winners from this round:
- 1st – Justin Ruth won $200 presented by TRJ Photography
- 2nd – Jordan Barlow won $100 presented by Evolution Fitness
- 3rd – Matt Umolac won $50 presented by Evolution Fitness

June Bracket Points Weekends
The weather pushed us to reschedule our first drag race weekend, so you get double the drag racing this month! Load up the slicks and swing by the starting line June 11-12 and June 25-26. We’ll be running our usual bracket points competition classes as well as a chill Test & Tune for newbies and practice passes.
Update for June 11th: Based on the weather this coming weekend, Saturday June 11th start time will likely be in the early afternoon as long as the track can be kept clear of water seeping from the ground. We’ll have overhead announcements at the facility keeping everyone posted throughout the morning. We appreciate the patience from everyone while we battle the water this year!
$5000 Grassroots Shootout
At the end of June we’re cranking the heat with our local big money tandem competition. The Grassroots Shootout is June 30 to July 3rd. Spectators, come see our hot local talent throwing down for some cold cash.
